The following types of businesses may not be eligible for a Total Merchant Services account, but ARE eligible to be considered for a merchant account through us with Humboldt Bank

Airports
Annual service billings
Auto dealers (used cars)
Bankruptcy Attorneys
Buying and shopping club
Carpeting (custom)
Collection agencies and debt collection services
Computers and computer parts
Credit restoration and/or repair services
Dating services
Electronics, VCRs, DVDs, TVs, stereos, camera etc.
Hair loss products
Investment opportunity
Membership businesses (billings beyond quarterly)
MLM signup fees and business opportunity
Prepaid Calling Cards
Timeshare rentals
Water purifiers

Prohibited Category Businesses

The following types of businesses are not eligible for a credit card merchant account:

Adult entertainment and materials
Check cashing services
Cruise lines
Direct outbound telemarketing
Companies with a future service liability that is greater than one year
Membership businesses (longer than one year)
Products and services with unreasonable or unlimited guarantees
Gaming (casino, sports wagering)
Travel agencies (selling travel/tour packages)
