Affiliate Quick Start Guide
Getting started will only take a few minutes. You should have received an email confirming your affiliate approval and giving you your login information. Our affiliate program is powered by Click Inc. There are three commission options. The default option is $20 per lead $10 2nd tier, $5, 3rd tier. If you wish you can opt for the Pay Per Approval option and earn $100 per approved merchant or the Coupon program that pays both you and your referred client $50 upon approval. 1. Click on the settings tab and verify your info is correct, and select your choice of payment methods. You can change your password here as well.
2. Click on the marketing tab and select the domains option. Enter just the domain name where you want to promote our service. We will approve your domain name and notify you in one business day. Submit as many different domains as you want. When approved they will be listed on this page with the approved icon on the right. Each domain name you have will be assigned a specific campaign number in the campaigns section
3. When your domain is approved, click on the marketing tab and choose the links option. You will see there are four categories of links. You can target your links to customers interested in a retail terminal, a wireless terminal, an Internet gateway or general for all merchants. Click as appropriate and the system will display link code. Select the campaign. Campaign numbers appear next to the approved domain name in the campaign option.
4. You will need to decide if you wish to use text or banner links. The tabs at the top allow you to select text or banner ads. We highly recommend that you use text links Text links can be included on your pages in a natural appearance, whereas banner ads are obvious advertisements that may be ignored by visitors. You will likely receive over twice the number of clicks from text ads over banner ads. If you do not see a text ad that fits your page, please send us the text you wish to use and we will create a special text ad to your specifications.
5. Next you need to decide if you want to use regular affiliate links or True Links. True Links look just like any natural link: www.goodwebsite.com whereas affiliate links have a lengthy sub-page string. Visitors may not trust affiliate links because they know you are earning a commission. Also some visitors may actually remove the affiliate string from the link, thereby robbing you of your commission. For that reason we highly recommend that you use the True Links which are found in the left-hand column. Simply cut 'n paste the link code on your site where you want the link or banner to appear and you're all set!
6. Your affiliate account also has an analytics script that will track where your lead traffic originated from. If you wish to install the script click on the reports tab and select the affiliate links option. Follow the instructions on the script. Note the script is optional and is not required to track your sales, clicks or impressions.
7. Coupon Program - If you selected the coupon program, click here to download and print out the coupons. Write your affilliate ID number in the PROMO CODE spot and start handing them out. For every referred merchant that enrolls you earn $50.00!
You will be notified by email when you have earned a commission. However you can log into your account anytime and view the number of pending sales as well as the number of clicks from any of your domains and campaigns.
Our sales staff calls every referred lead to verify that they are legitimate merchants. We will also make sure that they have entered their information in our system. Leads are identified by business name, persons name, email address and phone number. They are also time stamped in our database for positive identification, thereby ensuring that you will get credit.
